Mutton Curry with Potato

Potato Mutton Korma

Ingredients:
Mutton : 1/2 kg.
Coriander leaves: 1/4 cup
Pudhina(mint) levaes: 1/4 cup
Green chilli : 3 No.
Tomato : 3 No.
Potato 3
Tumeric powder : ½ Tsp
Red chilli powder:3 spoon
Coriander powder:1 spoon
Yogurt (Curd) 1 cup
Salt
To grind
Coconut paste : 1 cup
Big onion : 1
Garlic : 7 pods
Ginger : 2 inch grind into a paste
Currymasal powder : 1 tsp (cardamom, cloves, cinnamon )

Preparation :
In a cooker add ghee,oil then add the ginger garlic paste and Currymasal powder fry this until raw smell goes.
Add the Coriander leaves,Pudhina(mint) levaes and Green chilli fry it for few min
Add the tomatos fry it well
Now add the mutton,Tumeric powder,Red chilli powder,Coriander powder,Yogurt,Coconut paste cup and Salt fry for 5 min so that the masala will get into the meat
then add 11/2 cup water and close the lid give 5 whistle (cook the mutton well,if one more whistle need means give again)

Kuska Rice or Bagara Rice

Kuska or Bagara Rice ( Tamil Nadu Muslim style ) 


This is one of the traditional food in South India. Kuska is similar like Hydrabadi Bagara Rice, In all muslim carnival we can find this dish, one of the ramadan special also. good combination with all Non-Veg curry particularly Mutton Korma 


Ingredients:


Basmathi rice: 1 1/2 cup
Cinnamon : 3 piece ( 2 inch )
cardamom : 5
Cloves : 3
Coriander leaves: 1 bunch
Pudhina Mint leaves : 1 bunch
Ghee : 3 spoon
Oil : 5 spoon
Green chilli : 3 No.
Preparation:
Wash and soak the rice for 30 min.
In a cooker add oil, ghee and then add cardamom , cloves , cinnamon and fry until the raw smell goes
add  Coriander, Pudhina and Green chilli, fry until the raw smell goes
Then add 3 cups of water, salt and rice
Close the lid and give 2 whistle
The tasty Kuska rice is ready

Potato and Egg Plant Fry


Potato and Egg Plant (Brinjal) Fry is a SouthIndian Spicy dish let us see how to cook

Ingredients:

Potato : 2 No.
Brinjal (Egg Plant) : 2 No.
Small onion : 5 No.
Curry leaves
Chilli Powder : 1 1/2 spoon
Grated coconut : 3 Tsp
Salt
Oil

Preparation:

Add oil in the pan, add onion, curry leaves, after the onion became transparent
Add the potato and brinjal, fry all the items for 50 seconds
then add salt and chilli powder fry it for 3 min.
then add 1/2 cup water and cover the pan by plate
finally add the grated coconut fry for 1 min.

*This poriyal will goes with any variety Rice and Roti

Spicy Fish Fry


Spicy Fish Fry

Ingredients:
  1. Fish:1/2 Kg
  2. Chilli Powder: 3 Spoon
  3. Pepper Powder:1 1/2 Spoon
  4. Tumeric Powder: 1/2 tsp
  5. Garlic Paste:1 Spoon
  6. Salt for taste
Preparation:
  • Clean the fish (At last add half tablespoon salt to wash the fish,salt will easily remove the blood from the fish & fish will be in white color)
  • Add all above ingredients mix it well and keep it aside for 30 min
  • In a sauce pan add oil,put the mixed fish pieces one by one and fry it well.

Green Tea Benefits and Preparation

What is Green Tea ?
Green tea originates from China , Green tea has been used as a medicine in China for at least 4,000 years.
Botanical evidence indicates that India and China were among the first countries to cultivate tea. Today, tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world, second only to water. Green tea comes from a tea plant native to Asia called Camellia Sinensis. Black tea also comes from this same plant. What makes green tea different, and green, is not the plant used to make the tea, but how the plant is processed. Green teas are the least processed of commercial teas and the method used preserves more of the nutrients and health benefits.

The most recent reports indicate that this Green tea is believed to be very useful in increasing a person’s metabolism. The overall effect that green tea diet drinks have on a person depends on a variety of factors, however. Further research needs to be completed regarding this aspect of using green tea.
For now, you can be assured that green tea will provide your body with many other benefits. All of this occurs primarily because of a key ingredient present in it. 



    • Green Tea Act as antioxidants thus it lowers the Risk of Cancer.
    • Green Tea Lowers Cholesterol and thus, the Risk of Stroke and Heart Diseases
    • Green Tea Lowers Blood Pressure.
    • Green Tea Prevents Tooth Decay.
    • Green tea is said to help in lowering calories and fighting fat.
    • Reduction in bad cholesterol and Helps in weight loss.
    • Increase in metabolic rate / fat oxidization.

    How to Make Green Tea?
                                                                            
    Add one cup of  water in a teapot or kettle to a boil then let it sit for about few minutes to achieve the perfect temperature around 60-80 ° C (180 °F)
    Now add the tea leaves and let it infuse for 2 - 3 minutes but not any longer, or else your tea will become slightly bitter
    You can add small amount of  sugar, lemon or honey to your taste

    Don't drink Green tea after 6 pm. Otherwise, you cannot have a good sleep

    Simple Dal Fry




    Ingredients:
    1. Dal:100gms
    2. Small Onion : 10 No
    3. Curry leaves
    4. Dry red chilly: 4 No
    5. Mustard seeds:1 Tsp
    6. Cumin seeds:1 Tsp
    7. Oil : 2 Tsp
    8. Ghee:1 Tsp
    9. Salt
    Preparation:
    • Wash the dal and pressure cook it for 10 Min.
    • In a sauce pan add oil,ghee,mustard seeds & cumin seeds
    • Add the curry leaves,red chilly & chopped small onion fry it well
    • Mix this with the dal & add salt to taste

    This will goes with rice

    Chicken Haleem Hydrabadi Special


    Ingredients:
    1. Chicken Keema(Minced) : 1/2 Kg
    2. Moong dal : 1/2 cup
    3. Channa dal :1/2 cup
    4. Wheat : 1/2 cup
    5. Turmeric powder : 1/4 Tsp
    6. Red chilli powder : 3 spoon
    7. Coriander powder : 1 spoon
    8. Ginger garlic paste : 5 spoon
    9. Coriander leave : small amount
    10. Pudhina (Mint) leaves: small amount
    11. Green chillies : 3 No's
    12. Big onion : 1 (lengthwise chopped)
    13. Curd(Yogurt) : 2 spoon
    14. Currymasala powder : 1/2 spoon (Cinnamon,cardamon,cloves)

    Preparation:
    Wash the all dal and soak it overnight 
    Boil the all dal and grind into a paste
    In a pan, fry the onion until it become golden brown keep it aside
    • In a Pressure cooker add the oil, add the Currymasala powder and Ginger garlic paste fry it for few min until raw smell goes
    • Add the Green chillies,Coriander leave,Pudhina leaves,fry it for few min until raw smell goes
    • Add the chicken keema,with Turmeric powder,Red chilli powder,Coriander powder and curd(Yogurt) fry it for few min
    • Add boiled dal into the chicken keema Mix it well
    • Add some water and oil,mix it well
    • Leave for 2 Whistle
    • Serve the dish with fried onion.

    • Note:Haleem is one of the Ramadan special,In this dish wheat give more flavor 
    • Haleem can be Prepare with mutton also,they use whole mutton and chicken to cook it takes nearly 6 to8 hours to make dish,
